5. Jelašnička klisura - Hiking and Free climbing - Travel to Serbia

8. Waterfalls Vurnje - camping

This is one of the most secluded places in Stara Planina, about ten kilometres from the most remote Stara Planina village of Topli Do, are several real gems of nature. Hidden gems of Stara Planina mountain – eight magnificent waterfalls, better known to the locals as Vurnje. As a result, travel in Serbia can feel like a movie scene. In other words, some scenes from this place are like scenes from The Lord of the Rings movies! Embark on a new camping adventure and camp in this paradise place!

9. Floating islands on Vlasinsko lake

Vlasina Lake is a marvellous place to relax. This artificial lake with an area is a cure for everybody. Surrounded by the mountains Gramada, Vardenik, and Čemernik and located at 1,213 m above sea level, it provides any person with the peace of mind that everyone deserves. The construction of a dam in the 1950s created a lake on the site of the former Vlasina mud. Those floating islands form when the water level of the lake rises. They are a specific feature of Vlasina Lake. The islands are of peat bogs, the product of centuries of decay of peat moss. In other words, quite a special place to visit.

10. Đavolja Varoš

Firstly, this is a rare natural phenomenon. “Devil’s Town” represents unusual stone creations that arose during many years of soil erosion. Its location is on Radan Mountain near Kursumlija in southeastern Serbia. Secondly, in Đavolja Varoš – there are 202 stone formations, from 2 to 15 meters high, with an average diameter of about 1 meter. Thirdly, at the top of the stone pillars are stone blocks, “heads” some of which weigh more than 100 kg. Fourthly, and most importantly, this geomorphological phenomenon is not unique to Serbia but is the largest in Europe. Equally, two more springs are near the stone pillars. 11. Mountain Jastrebac - Selfie Waterfalls Adventure

Rajačke pivnice – or Rajac – are located on a hill near the village of Rajac, not far from Negotin, in eastern Serbia. It is a small village composed of traditional stone houses. These houses are used exclusively for the production and storage of wine. Rajačke pivnice is unique in that, although they look like a village in everything, no one lives in them all year round. Each house is a wine cellar, whose owners live in the village of Rajac, which is located about 15 minutes walk from this place. Due to the land and climate suitable for the development of the vine, the Negotin region was a crucial wine-growing region in Roman times, from the third century AD. 13. Special nature reserve Deliblatska peščara

Deliblatska peščara is in the southeastern part of the Pannonian plain, in Banat. It is the biggest European continental sandstone, covering nearly 35,000 hectares. This incredible place formed during the ice age, and it is a mind-blowing area for everyone! Today’s shape is from deposits of aeolian silicate-carbonate sand. In the modern period, the wind of Košava has formed a pronounced melon relief. The altitudes are between 70 and 200 meters. Imagine that! Well, you don’t even have to imagine!
